Prewash Instructions For Extra Softness
It is important for recycled cotton to soak overnight in cold water with
a spoon of sea salt, this will help to revive the natural colors of the dyes
and allow the cotton fibers to expand to ensure maximum absorbency and start
the softening process. Remember that the more you wash your towel, the softer
it will get.
As they are not pre-shrunk, please allow to air dry as much as you can.
Washing Your Fouta For The First Time
We recommend you wash your Fouta towel in cold water on a gentle cycle. Don’t
use bleach or fabric softener. Our Turkish towels are super absorbent and quick
drying so we recommend air drying them to help preserve your Fouta towel. If
machined dried, then we recommend to do so on low heat. You may use a steamer
or warm iron to smooth out any wrinkles.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is already
naturally soft, so we recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not
use bleach or fabric softener. Preferable air dry or a delicate/gentle cycle.
Dry Clean
A few pieces, such as the Damask,
Zaida and Zahara collections have been made from non semi automatic looms which
means their weave is more delicate. To avoid any shrinkage, we recommend hand
washing and air dry or dry clean.
Caring For Your Fringes
Due to the fringes being hand knotted you can
avoid the fringes coming off by making sure that the knots are tight
regularly.
