Our Fouta towels are individually loomed — not cut from big rolls of textile like most towels you'll find on the market. That means no seams, no weak spots, and a weave that's built to last. The fringes are hand-made.
Because they're tightly woven from 100% cotton, Fouta towels naturally shake off sand without any "miracle" polyester tricks. (You may have seen those claims in videos — we'll let the cotton speak for itself! 😄)
So what sets a Fouta apart from a Turkish towel? Both are flat-woven and lightweight, but our Foutas are crafted on traditional Tunisian looms using a heritage technique that creates a denser, more durable weave. The result?
